Background of the Study
As banking services increasingly shift to digital channels, robust online authentication is critical for securing transactions and protecting sensitive customer data. Citibank Nigeria has enhanced its online authentication systems by adopting multi-factor authentication (MFA), biometric verification, and advanced encryption techniques. These measures are designed to provide a secure environment for online transactions while reducing the risk of unauthorized access and cybercrime.
